Castle Colz in La Villa
The castle owes its fame mainly to the adventures of “Braccone”, alias Federico Guglielmo Prack di Asch (Bracco). Between 1573 and 1581the adventurer became famous for being a pillager, a cruel knight and kind hero.
For local people the castle is simply called la gran ćiasa.
During the centuries, the building was employed with different uses: from aristocrat residence to nursing home; to end up as “Gran Ciasa”, one of the rural proprieties. Today Castle Colz is an important cultural meeting point.
From 9th to 13th August there will be a series of concerts, “Le Ciastel dla Müjia”.
